Hi I'm Yoda the studio cat, I play an important part in the day to day organizing of the work area. Firstly I am woken for breakfast in bed so as to start my busy day, a man has too have a hearty meal. Then I find the sunniest & warmest place to over look the goings on in the studio, from time to time I find it necessary to leave the comfort of my foreman position & to check things out, I have held this position for going on sixteen years, my arty friend & I have developed a strong partnership over this time & I don't like to let her down.
Once I am satisfied all is well & the creativity side of things is progressing along nicely it's time to take a nap, you know the kind ..."Cat Nap"... so thanks for stopping bye, hope to see you again soon... Meow & have a nice day.

My passion is creating art, paintings & sculpting the Figure in Fantasy. As an artist I am drawn to people and faces. The heart of my muse desires to express and to capture "emotivity", throughout my work. I enjoy creating ambiance and elegance with the brush or sculpting tools, from my imagination and the world around us, nature being my greatest inspiration. Most importantly the strongest element to be blended & woven into the work in progress comes from the soul … life.
1996 was to be the birthing of my Figures in Fantasy Studio “One of a Kind” Collector Creations of the Mythological Kind came to life and with a heritage for “Storytelling”, mysteries that lay deep in the scripts of time were merged together forming the characters that be.
Then one day it dawned on me that I could blend my two passions painting/sculpting, the mediums I chose in this genre are a natural progression onto canvas; hence the studio was transformed into a larger space to accommodate the marriage of these two art forms. The exploration of fabric draping, sculpting in clay & painting, were to form the character features in my now other visual media. Experimentation, patience & determination were the facets which encourage together a medley of other elements, mosaic, antique beading and other discarded & found treasures, bringing to life reflections from within. Each character is a collectors item & they are not designed for young children 12 yrs & under. Many have traveled to their new owners overseas.
Every day in the studio is an adventure, something to learn & explore as no two sculptures are alike, each has it's own unique features as no molds are used in the creating process but are carefully sculpted using quality products to the manufactures specifications.
